NxLeveL Entrepreneurship Program

Program Overview:The NxLeveL Entrepreneurship Program is a 10-week, statewide, accelerator sponsored by the Benedict College Women's Business Center (WBC). This program is designed to support and empower entrepreneurs by providing them with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to grow their businesses. The overarching goal of the program is to help participants develop a business plan, explore funding opportunities, enhance their leadership skills, and connect with a network of like-minded individuals and peers.


Participants will meet on Tuesdays beginning September 17, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Those who reside in the Columbia area are expected to attend in person, while participants outside of the Columbia area may attend virtually. If accepted, the registration fee is $70 per person. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 3, 2024.


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be 21 years or older.

  • Open to all genders and races/ethnicities.

  • Must be the founder/CEO of their business.

  • Must have an existing business that supplies goods and/or services.

  • Must have been in business for at least 12-24 consecutive months.

  • Businesses must be registered, licensed, and in good standing in South Carolina.

  • Online participants must have access to a computer, the Internet, and a dedicated, stationary space with mandatory on-camera presence.


Program Commitments:Participants must:

  • Commit to attending all programming for the accelerator, including orientation, classes and graduation.

  • Actively seek and engage with the program instructor during the 10 sessions.

  • Actively seek and engage with the assigned WBC business advisor for a 1-on-1 coaching session, with a one-session minimum.

  • Complete an abbreviated business plan and receive peer feedback.

  • Complete pre-and post-assessments and an exit interview.
