Cynnamon Morant

Cynnamon Morant is a resident of Columbia SC. She is a sheriff’s deputy and has over 17 years of experience in law enforcement. She is the CEO of CynnamonSpice LLC., a youth and family coaching business and the founder of Rebuilding Broken Walls Inc., a non-profit that focuses on youth and family healing and empowerment. Cynnamon published her first book entitled “Generational Overcomers: No More Silence” and it is currently available around the world via Amazon and via other online bookstores. Generational Overcomers: No More Silence is an account of Cynnamon’s journey in overcoming unhealthy life cycles, bad decisions, family brokenness, emotional battles, spiritual warfare, molestation, fears and other generational family issues. The book ends with a section dedicated to encouraging and providing direction on to how to overcome life’s unhealthy cycles. Cynnamon recently published her second book, “Generational Overcomers WORK BOOK.” It is a work book comprised of 12 individual lessons, where parents can work with their preteen and teen youth one on one for mentoring, improving character, attitude and overall well -being. The work book can also be used as an educational tool for individual use, and with youth and adults in group settings. She is currently writing her third book “Father, The Cry for Our boys Men and Our Fathers” it is a faith-based book that will touch on the topic of the effects of absentee fathers on families.  She is most productive in the areas of reaching youth, teaching character, promoting individual and family wholeness and empowerment amongst women. Cynnamon has received several awards and recognitions for her community involvement. They include the Rotary Club Of Orangeburg “Service Above Self” Award, the South Carolina Associations Of School Resource Officer’s  “Low Country Resource Officer Of The Year 2013” award, the US ARMY JROTC “SERVICE” award, the M. A. LEE Scholarship “Community Activist” award and many other honors and recognitions.  There have been several newspaper articles written locally in The Times and Democrat about her many efforts in building better communities. She has been interviewed and featured on WLTX, ABC News Columbia Gospel 94.5, Old Skool 102.9, The Krystal Shanell Show and many others.  Cynnamon is available to share her personal and professional experiences to empower and promote healthy lifestyles for both the individual and families.
