Latrice Spann is a Senior Project Engineer with a passion for giving back and increasing the number of minority women in Science, Engineering, Technology and Math careers. Over the last few years, she has worked diligently helping to startup the new Colgate-Palmolive manufacturing facility in Greenwood, SC. She has developed technical onboarding training for new hires, spare headed new product launches and managed the maintenance department. Spann currently executes a wide variety of capital projects for the facility.
Spann is a 20 year member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), where she is currently the College Initiative Chair for the Upstate SC NSBE Professionals Chapter. She has previously held positions on both the Regional and National Executive Boards within the organization.
Spann credits her confidence and courage to go after leadership experiences from her lifelong involvement with Girl Scouts. Spann is a Girl Scout Sliver Award and Gold Award recipient. Also she is a former troop leader in the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valley Council. Currently Spann serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of South Carolina Mountains to Midlands, where she is chair of the development committee.
Spann is a native of North Charleston, SC currently residing in Greenwood, SC. She is a child of God, trusted to John and Janice Spann. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Packaging Science from Clemson University and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Strayer University.
