Latoya Jeeter is the Social Engagement Officer for #LetsGetHired Mondays, a new job searching hashtag frequently used on Facebook and an active community-driven leader in South Carolina. For the past three years, Latoya has served as a Career Coach at her alma mater Columbia College, where she volunteers on numerous campus committees such as the Staff Leadership Committee, the Diversity Committee and the Sustainability Committee and serves in two leadership roles for student organizations. In addition to serving on committees, Latoya is one the youngest board members on the South Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers as the Newsletter Chair. She also is an active member of the Kappa Eta Zeta chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated of Camden, SC.
Ms. Jeeter received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Social Work and Leadership from Columbia College where she graduated with leadership honors and is a first generation college graduate. In 2013, Ms. Jeeter continued her educational studies and pursued a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina and has been working for Columbia College with the Institute for Leadership and Professional Excellence for 3 years. She plans to pursue a Doctorate in Adult Education in fall 2017.
