Kimberlei Davis multi-media journalist in Columbia, SC. She works with WOLO-TV as the station’s first digital anchor, reporter and producer to grow viewership by implementing a multi-screen strategy.
Kimberlei knows that it takes a great storyteller to excel in this digital age of journalism. In order to standout in a competitive market, with character limits and short attention spans, a great journalist must create unique and shareable stories for all platforms through memorable writing, photography and editing.
She has worked in radio, print, broadcast and digital media outlets. With nearly 17 years of experience, she’s interviewed Oscar, Tony, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe, Dove, Stellar winners. Her own work has appeared in the Associated Press and Washington Post. She’s appeared on local television station promoting the work of March of Dimes, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and her non-profit The LEAP Foundation.
Kimberlei holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Johnson C. Smith University.
