Daphnie Glenn is an Author and educator in Spartanburg, SC.  She works actively with the youth and their advocates to start the conversation of tough topics affecting the African American community. Daphnie believes that having timely conversations with the youth about today’s world can and will change the trajectory of life for the next generation of brown boys and girls.

Daphnie has written two books entitled, Brown Boy and Brown Girl respectively. Her books, focusing on navigating life as a child of color, have landed in over 35 schools and organizations throughout South Carolina and counting.  Daphnie has traveled across the country spreading this timely message.

She has received many awards including, Top Ten Young Professionals sponsored by the Talented Tenth Conference in Greenville, SC.  In addition, Daphnie is expanding her talents to include youth coaching-a means to empower the youth on etiquette, education, and entrepreneurship.

Daphnie holds a Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration from Columbia College.
