Ms. Chandra L. Goodwin, MA, LPC, NCC, is a second year Doctoral Candidate in the Counselor Education and Supervision Program at The University of South Carolina. She received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Benedict College in 2008 and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Webster University in 2012. Chandra became fully licensed as a Professional Counselor in both South and North Carolina simultaneously. She is an active member in the Columbia Section of The National Council of Negro Women and volunteers for The Salvation Army. In 2015, Chandra was nominated as Employee of the Year at The SC Department of Mental Health’s Sexually Violent Predator Program, inducted into Chi Sigma Iota – the international counseling honors society, received Webster Universities Outstanding Alumni Award, earned The National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification, and was also highlighted in Webster Universities Student Spotlight Town Hall Newsletter. In 2016 she was honored by The BlindSpot Art Foundation as one of the Midlands Women on the Move.
