Sherrod Brown

SSherrod Brown, a native of Jacksonville, Florida has been singing and dancing since the tender age of eight years old. He began professional training at fourteen at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts. Soon after, he became renowned for his choreography which afforded him the opportunity to work with countless Stellar and Grammy Award winning artists such as Dr. Bobby Jones, Tye Tribbett, Deitrick Haddon and Miley Cyrus to name a few. Sherrod was sought out by the legendary Debbie Allen to perform alongside Mariah Carey on several nationally televised performances. He’s been featured on many national television appearances which include: BET, ABC and the DISNEY Channel. Doing what he loved led Sherrod to formulate PRPC (The Prince Rod Performance Company) , which was a regional touring performance dance troupe known for its complex, contemporary, soul-stirring performances which resonated with all members of their audiences.

Ever the performer, Sherrod’s off Broadway theatre credits include: Ragtime, Hair, Little Shop of Horrors, Hair Spray, Grease and many more. He is currently the Fine Arts Director at the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Jacksonville where the Pastor is Bishop John Guns. His most recent accomplishment is the establishment of The Posh Factory Performing Arts Center, LLC where he is the Owner and Creative Director. Currently in the works Sherrod is set to launch ͞Project Posh͟, a not-for-profit venture, where low income and at risk families can send their children to train tuition free at the Posh Factory, until then he just doesn’t have the heart to turn any student away.
