Sebastian Alexander

A native of New Orleans, LA, Sebastian Tousissant Alexander is the consummate family man. Mr. Alexander is married to Sharmia Alexander and the father of Kaylah, Miles and Morgan. After pursuing a Bachelor or Arts degree from University of Louisiana (Monroe); Sebastian began a career in the automotive industry. Mr. Alexander began his career as a salesman in Atlanta, GA and continued his career in Jacksonville, FL. After 17 years in the automotive industry, Sebastian is now the Finance Director and General Sales Manager of Gainesville, Mitsubishi. Sebastian has served in as Duval County Soil and Water Board Chairman, becoming the first African American to serve as Chairman of the Board. The Soil and Water Conservation District was founded in 1937. He currently serves as an Associate Member for the district. Mr. Alexander provides the organization with operational direction, business development, project management and helping the residents of Jacksonville. Sebastian also conducts workshops and seminars on how best to utilize all of our natural resources. Active within the Greater Jacksonville community, Sebastian’s life mission is to positively impact the lives of others and empower them to make invaluable contributions to themselves, family and their community
