Jaya Dillard

Jaya Dillard is the sales & services manager of the St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches Visitors and Convention Bureau, a DMAI accredited organization, where she is responsible for attracting group business to the destination, prospecting to all markets (social, military, educational, reunion, fraternal, corporate and weddings/ special events).

Prior to joining the Bureau in 2009, Dillard served as the Tourism Coordinator for Flagler County Chamber of Commerce – Tourism Branch where she supported the growth and awareness of Palm Coast and the Beaches tourism efforts. Palm Coast was once recognized as one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S.

A graduate of Flagler College, Dillard startedher hospitality career from the bottom as a front desk agent at a Sleep Inn Hotel. She slowly advanced, working as the Owner Services Manager for Celebrity Resorts a time-share entity overseeing owner accounts. By 2005 Dillard was offered a position as the Sales Administrator for Hammock Beach Resort also in Palm Coast. She holds a Certified Diversity Meeting Professional accreditation, representing knowledge and respect in working with diverse markets of all realms. With over 17 years in the hospitality industry, Dillard’s hunger for growth continues to excel. She is currently pursuing her M.P.A. at Barry University. With a passion for destination sales, Dillard brings a proactive approach in providing a unique and fun experience for her group attendees.

A newly wed, Dillard, and her husband Alfonzo, an Army veteran, retired Flagler County Deputy, and now a bail bonds business owner, live in Palm Coast. Both very proud of their mixed family of four children, their two oldest are high school seniors, their middle son a high school freshmen and their youngest a fifth grader. Recently joining their family is their boxer/ lab puppy Theodore aka “Teddy”.
