Every successful corporate event relies on a combination of trustworthy vendors. It can be a challenge finding the right vendor you need for each piece of the event you’re planning. If one vendor makes a mistake, it could reflect on you and damage the relationship you have with a client or other vendors. This is why vetting vendors and knowing exactly how to negotiate with them is such an important part of the event planning process.
While planning the 7th Annual Taste of Black Columbia, I wanted to feature something that would be a great wow factor. The theme of the event was centered around roses and the event was the called the “Rose Experience”. How jaw-droppingly gorgeous is this wall of blooms? Created by Exquisite Designs, it included fresh blooms in bright shades of orange and pink roses, and white hydrangeas.
Flower walls can work anywhere; at a wedding ceremony entrance, at a reception behind a delicious spread of desserts, or as a gorgeous backdrop for both a wedding or corporate event. If you attended the event, you may have seen this beautiful flower wall crafted and styled by Thurston Polite, owner of Exquisite Designs.
Thurston is also a winner of 2016 Taste of Black Columbia in the “Best of Taste Decor” category. Although the category did not return this year, it was a must to have this amazing young entrepreneur come back and share his talents once again. Thurston and his team spent an ample amount of time to bring this vision to life, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. Thurston added a few pillars and decorative pieces to bring it all together and our guests enjoyed every bit of it.
If you’re tying the knot or hosting a corporate event in a spacious, raw space much like the SC State Museum, create a focal point for the event or ceremony like we did using a flower wall.
